About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have loved photographing the world around me. Photography has been a journey that has taught me to see more clearly and better notice the little, often overlooked, things around me. It has helped me find beauty in even the most unexpected places.
I began as an editorial and corporate photographer, which gave me experience across a broad spectrum of photographic processes and tools. In my early career I literally shot 10,000 rolls of film on assignments that took me to dozens of countries across the globe. Throughout the past several decades I have photographed everything from artisans weaving blankets to space shuttle launches.
My photography journey has given me a deep conviction that there is a thread that binds us together, something that makes all of humanity truly connected. I believe that seeing and sharing what is amazing in people and places throughout this earth, across all circumstances and cultures, strengthens the bonds between us all. Photography has the power to emphasize the beauty in not just the triumphs but also the trials that unite the entire human family.
